March 10th, 1PM—In cooperation with the Yavapai Chapter of the Arizona Archaeological Society, the Museum presents Allen Dart: “Archaeology‘s Deep Time Perspective on Environment and Social Sustainability” This presentation looks at some of the archaeological evidence on environmental changes and how human cultures have adapted to those changes, and discusses the value of a beyond history perspective for modern society.

April 14th and 15thMata Ortiz Show & Sale  featuring Lucy Mora and Lorenso Bugarini.  Starting at 10AM on April 14th in the Smoki Pueblo, see how Mata Ortiz pottery is made: from clay work, to design, and even a firing in the afternoon!  Pottery will be available for purchase in the Trading Post at incredibly low prices!


April 21st, 6PM—Wine Tasting  This super fun event features the best parings of wine and food! $60 pp at the Wyndham Garden Hotel. Call for menu and event details.

The Spring Indian Art & Navajo Rug Auction Will Have A New Format!


200 pieces of traditional and contemporary Indian Art, and 300 Navajo weavings will be sold at extraordinary prices!  


The Indian Art will be auctioned

Friday March 16, 5PM &

Saturday 3/17,11AM

A Preview for the Friday  Auction will be held from 1 TO 4:30 PM and for the Saturday Auction from 9 to 10:30 AM


The Navajo Rugs will be auctioned

Saturday 3/17, 1 PM with a Preview from 9 AM to 12:30 PM


Consignments will be accepted at Ogg’s Hogan March 5th—March 10th, 10AM to 2PM

& at Burnham Trading Post  928-688-2777 & Totsoh Trading Post  928-787-2281. Call for more information.
